What is required to apply for Supervisa?

  Be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada
 An invitation from your child or grandchild
 The sponsor must meet the minimum necessary income (for Super Visa) requirement       and provide the most recent Canadian tax return (Notice of assessment)
  Purchase Canadian healthcare insurance of $100,000 coverage for at least 1 year-       check the cost for insurance here. (approximately $2,000 - $3,000 CAD per year).
  Parents will be required to undergo a medical examination
  A written commitment of financial support from the Sponsor (child or grandchild)       must be provided
  Have to satisfy the immigration officer that you are genuine visitor to Canada who will       leave by choice at the end of your visit
  Show ties to your home country
